    Dale W Schneider, DVM & Owner

    "Dr. Dale" is owner and founder of Parkdale Pet Care. Dr. Dale is a strong advocate of animals. He believes that all animals deserve the best possible care and all owners the compassion, understanding and education that is necessary to provide the optimum care for their pets.

    Dr. Dale is a native of Northeastern Wisconsin. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota and received his undergraduate degree from UW- River Falls. Professionally, Dr. Dale is very interested in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in companion animals.

    Dr. Dale and his wife, Carla, have lived in the West Bend area for over twenty years. They own two Golden Retrievers (pictured with Dr. Dale is Brik), a Doberman and "Wilson", a Pom-Chihuahua Mix as well as seven cats and their blind deer; "Raymond". Ask Dr. Dale about Raymond the deer... it's a heartwarming story!

    Carla Schneider, Co-Founder & Hospital Director

    Carla has been an intricate part of Parkdale Pet Care since it's inception. Carla and Dr. Dale began the practice in 1986. Carla, for many years, was the primary receptionist, coordinator and bookkeeper. Today Carla remains active in a supervisory and bookkeeping capacity.

    Carla is a native of northeastern Wisconsin. and a graduate dental assistant. Carla is active in many community organizations. In her spare time, she also enjoys reading, gardening, baking and spending time with family and pets. Dr Dale and Carla are happily owned by two Golden Retrievers, one Doberman and "Wilson," a perfectly sweet Pom-Chihuahua along with their seven cats!
  • Lisa Chapman, DVM

    Lisa Chapman, DVM

    Dr. Chapman joined our team in November 2006. She is a 2004 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine and also holds a BS degree in Molecular Biology from UW. Professionally, she has a special interest in surgery and dentistry. Dr. Lisa is originally from the Milwaukee area and has a twin sister who is a cardiologist.

    Dr. Lisa has two children (of the four-legged variety). Grizzly (pictured) is her black Labrador Retriever and Kelso, is an orange tabby cat. Dr. Lisa enjoys competitive waterskiing, Badger football and spending time with family, friends and pets.

    Lorin Shearburn, DVM

    Dr. Lorin joined the PPC team in 2009. She is a longtime advocate for companion animals and is passionate about their care. She has volunteered for over 15 years in shelters including Harmony House for Cats in Chicago, the Wisconsin Humane Society, Dane County Humane Society and Dane County Friends of Ferals. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary medicine from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2006. She was awarded the AAFP Feline Medicine and Surgery award her senior year. She is a member of the MVMA, WVMA, AVMA, HSVMA and American Association of Feline Practioners.

    Dr. Shearburn has 2 orange kitties, Perseus and Orinon and a Beagle named Baxter. Dr. Shearburn writes an online feline wellness column for examinar.com as the Milwaukee Cats Examiner. She also enjoys yoga, gardening, playing music and spending time with her husband and daughter.

    Jeanna, Veterinary Assistant

    Jeanna started with Parkdale as part of the kennel staff in 2004 and has become a very valuable part of our team. Jeanna helps in both exam rooms and assists during surgical procedures. Jeanna resides in Kewaskum with her Basset Hound, Itchy. She has owned ferrets, goats, cats and dogs and truly cares for all creatures. Jeanna enjoys spending time with family, pets and friends as well as camping and snowboarding!

    Judi, Veterinary Assistant & Receptionist

    Judi joined us in 2006 as a veterinary assistant. She has an extensive background in veterinary care. Judi has worked at both large and small animal clinics as well as having been the kennel operations manager for a large humane society. You will see Judi helping at the Front Desk as well as helping the doctors. Judi resides in Jackson with her family and her two dogs, Hannah and Princess Sophia. Judi's interests include Victorian art and decorating, Bruce Springsteen and she is a PACKER BACKER!

    Katelyn, Customer Service Representative

    Katelyn is part of our front desk staff. She has been with our team since 2006. You will recognize her by her ready smile and willingness to help! Katelyn is a 2001 graduate of West Bend West High School and has eight years of experience in the veterinary field. She resides in rural West Bend with her husband, Tim and their sons, Hunter & Logan. Katelyn's 4 legged family includes her Miniature Pinscher, Paloma, a Bulldog, Tater and Siamese cat, Westlee!

    Kayla, Veterinary Assistant

    Kayla is a full time Veterinary Assistant whom you will see both in exam rooms and assisting in surgery. Kayla has a strong knowledge of veterinary medicine and is our "go-to" person for product and technical information. She also has a special touch with dogs and seems to calm even the most fractious without trouble. Kayla has been with Parkdale for over six years and had also worked as an assistant at another clinic before joining us. Kayla is the proud owner of a Mastiff; Tank. Kayla lives in the West Bend area with her husband JD and loves hunting, fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling and most other sports!
  • Sara, Veterinary Technician & Receptionist

    Sara, Veterinary Technician & Receptionist

    Sara works both at the front desk and also in the technical areas of our hospital. She has been at Parkdale since 2001. Sara brings an extensive background in veterinary medicine to her position. She has been in the field for over ten years and holds an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology from the Medical Institute of Minnesota at Bloomington. We feel very fortunate to have someone with Sara's expertise answering questions and triaging cases. Sara has a special interest in purebred felines as well as cats in general and is a wonderful resource for cat behavior questions. Sara and her husband, Andy, reside in the West Bend area with their family of two children, two dogs and of course, Sara's cats.

    Stephanie, Veterinary Assistant

    Stephanie joined our technical team in 2009. She comes to us with several years of veterinary experience and a "can-do" attitude. You will meet Steph in the exam rooms assisting our doctors. She has also become an integral part of our surgery and dental teams. Stephanie is a graduate of Cardinal Stritch University and resides in the Kewaskum area. She has a great Golden Retriever and enjoys time with family and friends.

    Sarah is a certified veterinary technician that joined our Parkdale team in October of 2010. She has over ten years of experience working with animals. She received her certification in summer of 2009. She has a BS in biology with emphasis on animals. Sarah is married and lives with her husband Jake, chocolate labs Rye and Tank, Judy the cat and Slobby the fish. She loves music and in her spare time she is the lead singer in a band called the “Rabid Aardvarks." She loves spending time with family and friends (especially her granny).

    Mary / Kennel Staff

    Mary joined our PPC team July of 2011.  Her responsibilities consist of caring for our hospitalized patients and keeping the kennel spic and span. Mary does a superb job of keeping the kennel neat and clean. Mary is married and lives in West Bend.  She  has 2 daughters.  Her furry fourlegged children consist of her 2 dachshunds, Bert and Becca.  Mary loves the outdoors and she loves to camp and hunt.
